GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOBThe System Administrator role will be a key contributor to the administration, management, support, security and upgrades of QuadMed's clinical and operational systems.  This position will focus primarily on the installation, administration, setup, configuration, proactive monitoring and maintenance of the Epic Cach ODB environments.   Working as a member of the System Administration team, this position will also require a broad knowledge of Infrastructure systems as well as experience supporting 3rd party applications while working closely with software development and various server, storage, database, network, security and communication teams.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIESIn order of importance Systemsupport, maintenance and upgrades: Work closely with internal teams on customer impacting issues in a Tier III escalation capacity Develop and maintain operational and management procedures Support software and hardware teams during system upgrades May lead upgrade activities at times Coordinate infrastructure upgrades Develop and maintain system test plans System management: Creation, publishing and monitoring of system dashboards System capacity planning Make recommendations for system upgrades Define, configure and integrate QuadMed systems into an alerting and monitoring strategy System Security: Focus will be on the implementation of security tools, standards, policies and procedures as defined and directed by the Manager of Information Security Monitoring and auditing of security logs, and reports as defined by the Manager of Information Security Active participation in the ongoing analysis of system security with a focus on process improvement and security solution effectiveness System designsupport Assist in architectural and system design activities Participate in High Availability and D/R related strategy planning and support Assist in the development and evolution of alerting and monitoring strategies to stay in step with the needs of the business and customers Keep current with emerging technology and industry trends and participate in strategy planning and other innovative activities as needed The System Administrator role will be a part of the 7x24x365 escalation chain with periodic off-hours and weekend work required to support system upgrades or unplanned outages. Preferred 2 years or more experience working in a Unix  / Linux environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and SQL database server required Working knowledge of server virtualization solutions including VMware and Hyper-V required Knowledge of network, storage and server monitoring tools required Knowledge of Citrix environment required Experience with Windows Server security and Active Directory securitypreferred Experience working with or supporting controls defined by industry standards such as HiTrust and SSAE 16 SOC2 preferred Job ID 10733

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
