Job Description
The Service Contract Sales Representative is responsible for in-house sales, management and administration of QuadTech's global service contracting business. This includes identifying available customer opportunities, generating standard as well as customized service contract proposals for customers, and tracking and following up on the opportunities through to closure. The Service Contract Sales Representative will work closely together with QuadTech's global Sales and Service Teams to promptly offer, negotiate, and maintain the contracts within the company's business system.
Essential Functions:
Generate all contract offerings per Sales' Team requests
Generate, sell, monitor, and manage (primarily in-house) standard and customized service contracts to customers nearing product warranty expiration, or who are no longer covered under a warranty
Generate, sell, monitor and manage renewal contracts
Maintain the database of contracts (and their detailed provisions) in company's business system
Enter orders for proper and timely invoicing of all contracts
Exploit new contract provision offerings and avenues of service revenue growth
Lead and manage company's service contract development and overall service contracting business
At all appropriate customer touches, also promote our available Training offerings
Generate monthly metrics to track contract business status and progress
Assist in the development and implementation of contract performance metrics (analyze for trends and modify strategies to improve performance)

Develop new service strategies and service business opportunities for existing and new products
Lead in the development of pricing strategies to meet corporate targets
Initiate and participate in company initiatives that drive sustained growth and improve profitability

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree a plus, balanced with related professional experience
Significant past contract management or in-house sales experience (two years or greater)
Excellent skills in strategic selling of services and negotiation
Service operations experience with an intimate understanding of all Field Service and Headquarter operations
Strong organizational, presentation, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Skilled in the use of probing questions to uncover customer needs, goals and service opportunities
Ability to plan, organize and coordinate several tasks simultaneously
Solid business, mathematics and accounting skills
Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Professional Suite
Possess effective time management skills
Must be results-oriented, driven by performance goals
Ability to work in a team environment and independently
Openness to coaching and ability to learn quickly
Work with a sense of urgency and take personal accountability
