Sales Administrator - Commercial Finance
LOCATION - Surrey/Sussex
SALARY - C 27k plus excellent benefits
DUTIES
Our client is a specialist provider of commercial finance the role is to support sales activities to ensure the accuracy and enforceability of new business transactions. In addition, provide proactive communication with suppliers, funders and end users ensuring focus and understanding of excellent customer service is maintained at all times.
- First point of contact on sales force;
- Carry out credit searches on counter parties;
- Assist in preparation of credit proposals for new business;
- Communicate credit decisions to sales force in a timely and accurate manner;
- Prepare and check documents for counter parties;
- Set up payments to suppliers and other third parties;
- Maintain reports for completion of customer reviews prior to review date;
- Manage early settlement quotations, reschedule requests and termination requests;
- Liaise with accounts department to resolve administration issues;
- Maintain documentation systems - hard copies and soft copies;
- Spreading accounts and assist with the preparation of credit applications;
- To carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time within reason.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years prior relevant new business experience in new business administration and documentation gained within the processing or credit department of a bank or leasing company
- Educated to GCSE level with high passes in Maths and English
- Knowledge of Data Protection, Anti Money Laundering, Consumer Credit Act, Companies Acts and related legislation
- Understanding of the new business process from proposal to contract termination
- Good written and numeracy skills
- Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate output at all times
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise workload and keep Manager informed if time targets are likely to be missed
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Able to build effective relationships, both internally and externally
- Excellent understanding of MS Outlook, Excel and Word
- Flexible approach to work and understanding the challenges of a small office environment
- Have a commitment to setting and promoting high standards of customer service

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
