This position has primary responsibility for the QuadMed credentials verification and credentialing enrollment process and for all facets QuadMed providers. The position is also responsible for preparing, gathering and tracking credentialing and re-credentialing documentation; enrollment paperwork; and for tracking and reporting of expiring documents. Under general direction this role will perform routine and advanced administrative duties requiring considerable skill and in-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
Education: High School Diploma Required
Experience: Minimum of 3 or more years of experience in healthcare administration, related to provider credentialing and enrollment required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Ability to work continuously with a high degree of accuracy.
Capable of taking primary responsibility for specific projects and to follow to completion with only general supervision.
Knowledge of standard office environment and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal form.
Working knowledge of computer applications and hardware; proficient in Microsoft Excel

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
